If you are looking for a short easy wooded trail, consider the Spring Trail at Queen Wilhelmina State Park (near Mena, Arkansas).

At 0.3 miles, the Spring Trail is one of the shortest trails I’ve hiked in an Arkansas State Park. It is also one of the easiest, with very little elevation change.
The trail starts on the north side of the highway near the amphitheater and the “Wonder House,” a historic 9-level vacation home built in the 1930′s.
The spring was a popular gathering spot for early settlers. The trail ends near the west end of the park campground.
As usual, I have posted some of my photos and a gpx map made from my gps data.
