This is a short but vigorous trail. It takes you from the Lodge overlook down to the reservoir that was part of the 1890′s Wilhelmina Inn water system.

It is about .8 miles (round trip) down to the reservoir and back. With an elevation change of about 200 feet, be ready for a climb when you head back up this short trail.
On the way down, you will see the spur trail for the park’s hike-in campsite.
During leaf-off, you can see some scenic views of the Ouachita Mountains.
As usual, I have posted some of my photos and a gpx map made from my gps data.
