Boiling Springs State Park
Boiling Springs State Park in Woodward County, Oklahoma, had its Grand Re-Opening on Wednesday, September 1.
The name comes from one of the park’s natural springs which once had a “boiling” appearance due to a strong influx of subsurface water into the spring.
Among the renovations at the 820-acre park are a rebuilt Spring Box, new sidewalks, and new interpretive signage.
The park also has several hiking trails. The park map can be downloaded at this link.
